Registering your Production for METAs Consideration.
Before registering your production, please make sure you have read and understood the Eligibility Criteria.
If you have any questions regarding your eligibility, please write to registration@metas.ca six (6) weeks prior to your first public performance in Montreal.

Registration Fees for the 2023-2024 Theatre Season
The METAs will be shifting to a Pay-What-You-Decide model for registration fees. The suggested amount below can serve as a guideline, however it will be up to the registering company to determine their fee.
Company annual operating budget: 2023 Fees per production
over $1,000,000: $100
From $250,000 to $999,999: $75
From $100,000 to $249,999: $50
From $0 to $99,999: $40
In addition to registration fees, producers are responsible for allocating sufficient complimentary tickets for jurors to attend their production (min.7, up to a max. 12). We request producers identify how many complimentary tickets they can reasonably accommodate for their run in the 2023-2024 season in the Registration Form.
The METAs will operate on a much smaller scale for the Professional Theatre Companies in the 2023-2024 season, with a 10-12 person conditional jury to registered productions.
Best efforts will be made, but we cannot guarantee a jury member’s presence, even if a show has been registered. Health restrictions and COVID safety measures are constantly changing and the jurors must feel safe enough to see the production.
