Q: How has being nominated/receiving a META affected your artistic practice?
A: Being nominated alongside incredible theatre makers in this city constantly reminds me of the breadth of work that is flourishing within our community. There are so many different creators and artists that make up these lists of recognition and it is that array of creativity that is very inspiring, knowing we can all be celebrated together.

Q: Why do METAs Matter?
A: The METAs have shone a spotlight on the dynamism and hard work of our thriving community and within a national context. They are meant to encourage dialogue about our work and honour successes in recognition of our collective triumphs.

The METAs Nominees Announcement are almost here! See you Sept. 26 at the Monument-National at 3 PM!
